R.I.P. B.I.G. 17th Anniversary of Biggie's Death

On this day 17 years ago we lost  Christopher Wallace, AKA Notorious B.I.G.  He was killed in LA via drive by shooting 16 days before the release of his most successful album to date,  Life After Death.  Biggie's first and only album released while he was alive was the 1994 album Ready to Die.  This album helped spark the Bad Boy Record label dominance of the mid 90's to the new millennium.

There are so many great things to be said, and many other places may have said them already.  If you are a true hip hop head, there isn't much we can tell you about B.I.G. Poppa.  His lyrics were ahead of his time and help bring in a different era of hip hop.  It is our belief that Jay-Z took the Biggie blueprint and took it to the next level.  His untimely death left us all wondering how big his star status would've gotten.  Would it be Biggie invited to the Presidential Parties???  Faith and Biggie with Obama instead of Jay-Z and Beyonce??   Something to think about.

If you are reading this today, take a second to enjoy some of the timeless music Biggie has given to the world.  What is your favorite song or video???  When was the last time you heard a song from Biggie and the club and immediately hit the dance floor??  Most likely you have some Good memories tied to playing one of his albums.  Celebrate his life.  Good Memories.  GoodLife. #GLC

Here are some of our favorites:

This one isn't a Biggie Video.  It's the Lox's tribute song to Biggie
We will always love Big Poppa.  I know yall remember that.
