What's good lifers?? You know what it is over here, still livin this GoodLife. The New Year is here and I can't be more excited about how it is beginning. Hip Hop is becoming not only more accepted in West Michigan, but DEMANDED!! As a movement we are starting to gain regional, and very shortly national attention. Look no further than the Swagg Tour making a stop here in Grand Rapids, MI!!
The Swagg Tour is an 18 city tour that is aimed for exposing Indepent Artists, putting them in a postition to garner mainstream exposure. The Swagg Tour puts indepent artists on the same stage as Major Label artist. The independent artists get an opportunity to reach a larger, more diverse demographic, as their music will also travel with the tour. Some artist have been asked to join the tour's roster and continue to spread their music across the country.
Wednesday Jan. 11th 2012 it's our turn!!! G-Unit Artist 40 Glocc will headline the concert @ Gipper's on Alpine. He will also be bringing newly signed G-Unit comrade SUN. 40 Glocc has a hot single called "Damn", a collaboration with Ray J, that is already in heavy rotation nationwide. Sun has collaborated with some heavyweights in the business also. Right now he has a song with Slim Thug called "Round & Round".

Muskegon's own Phat Boi Records artist T-D.O.G is another heavyweight added to the Swagg Tour roster. T D.O.G killed the game with his street anthem "Get $"!! PJ the DJ will be on the 1's and 2's, along with other local artist being added to the show.
